Instructions
- New bamboo whisks will need to be opened by heating water to 160°F to 176°F, add hot water to the matcha bowl then bamboo whisk allowing it to sit in the bowl for 1–2 mins. Then remove boiling water.
- Add desired amount of matcha powder to the bowl using a bamboo scoop and a strainer if needed (1 teaspoon recommended), no clumps make a smooth texture. Add 2–3 oz of hot water to the bowl. Water too hot causes a bitter taste.
- Use bamboo whisk in a W or M motion to remove clumps in tea. Whisk 15–30 seconds until you get a nice foam on top.
- Enjoy! Drink your matcha from the bowl or pour in a cup or add to your favorite latte.
- To clean up, clean whisk, rinse with warm water, and let dry on whisk holder.
